CFSA has published a regulation draft on nine types of new food additives, among them:
– Three new varieties of enzyme preparations for the food industry (Protease, Glutaminase, and Xylanase);
– Amorphophallus Africanus extract, a new variety of food spice;
– Five sorts of food additives, including Non-Caloric Artificial Sweetener Advantame, of which scopes and amounts of use will be expanded.
Deadline for public comments is May 7, 2021.
