Mai 2021 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fsai.ie\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lebensmittelsicherheitsbeh\u00f6rde Irlands<\/a> betonte, dass Kunststoff als Lebensmittelkontaktmaterial keine aus Bambus gewonnenen Stoffe enthalten darf.<\/p>\n<p>Gem\u00e4\u00df der Verordnung (EU) Nr. 10\/2011 \u00fcber Materialien und Gegenst\u00e4nde aus Kunststoff, die dazu bestimmt sind, mit Lebensmitteln in Ber\u00fchrung zu kommen, ist Bambus derzeit nicht f\u00fcr die Verwendung in Kunststoffen zugelassen.<\/p>\n<p>Bambus und andere pflanzliche Stoffe werden Kunststoffen als F\u00fcllstoffe zugesetzt, um den Kunststoffanteil im Produkt zu reduzieren. Teilweise werden diese Kunststoffprodukte als \u201ebiologisch abbaubar\u201c, \u201eumweltfreundlich\u201c, \u201eorganisch\u201c, \u201enat\u00fcrlich\u201c oder sogar als \u201e100% Bambus\u201c gekennzeichnet und vermarktet, was jedoch nicht die wahre Natur des Produkts widerspiegelt.
