Ziel der \u00f6ffentlichen Konsultation ist es, wissenschaftliche Beitr\u00e4ge von anderen Branchen- und Ern\u00e4hrungsexperten, institutionellen Partnern und Interessengruppen einzuholen. Diese Konsultation erfolgt, nachdem sich die Europ\u00e4ische Kommission im Rahmen ihrer \u201eFarm-to-Fork\u201c-Strategie zur F\u00f6rderung einer gesunden und nachhaltigen Ern\u00e4hrung in der EU zur Einf\u00fchrung eines Systems zur N\u00e4hrwertkennzeichnung auf der Vorderseite von Verpackungen verpflichtet hat. Die Europ\u00e4ische Kommission plant, dieses System bis Ende 2022 einzuf\u00fchren.<\/p>\n<p>Im Rahmen dieses Prozesses hat die Europ\u00e4ische Kommission die EFSA um eine wissenschaftliche Stellungnahme und Beratung zu den f\u00fcr die europ\u00e4ische \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit wichtigen N\u00e4hrstoffen und Nicht-N\u00e4hrstoffbestandteilen in Lebensmitteln gebeten. Daraufhin hat die EFSA eine \u00f6ffentliche Konsultation eingeleitet, um Experten auf dem Gebiet der Ern\u00e4hrung um ihre Meinung zu bitten. Die EFSA wies jedoch darauf hin, dass es bei der Konsultation nicht darum geht, m\u00f6gliche N\u00e4hrstoffprofilmodelle zu bewerten oder vorzuschlagen.<\/p>\n<p>Dies stellt einen wichtigen Schritt auf dem Weg zur Festlegung von N\u00e4hrwertprofilen f\u00fcr Lebensmittel und zur Kennzeichnung der Vorderseite von Verpackungen durch die EU dar und tr\u00e4gt hoffentlich auch zur L\u00f6sung einiger politischer Kontroversen im Zusammenhang mit einigen der derzeit von den EU-Mitgliedsstaaten verwendeten N\u00e4hrwertkennzeichnungssysteme auf der Vorderseite von Verpackungen bei, wie beispielsweise \u201eNutriscore\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>Die \u00f6ffentliche Konsultation l\u00e4uft bis zum 9.
