El manual describe las diferencias entre declaraciones nutricionales y de propiedades saludables. Tambi\u00e9n hace hincapi\u00e9 en los siguientes elementos:<\/p>\n

\u2022 En cumplimiento con las regulaciones sobre declaraciones de propiedades saludables, el t\u00e9rmino \u201cprobi\u00f3tico\u201d podr\u00e1 usarse en las etiquetas de alimentos y suplementos del pa\u00eds hasta que la Comisi\u00f3n Europea (CE) se pronuncie al respecto.
\n\u2022 Se ha presentado una propuesta pendiente ante la CE para utilizar la palabra \u201cprobi\u00f3ticos\u201d como descriptor gen\u00e9rico.
\n\u2022 Los probi\u00f3ticos, prebi\u00f3ticos y fibras prebi\u00f3ticas son otros ejemplos de declaraciones de propiedades saludables que se han enumerado.<\/p>\n
