El 23 de julio de 2022, Cuenta de ahorros de Singapur<\/a> Se anunci\u00f3 el lanzamiento de una iniciativa de notificaci\u00f3n voluntaria para empresas que comercializan suplementos para la salud y medicinas tradicionales. El objetivo es establecer una base de datos local de productos de salud complementarios seguros y de buena calidad que los consumidores puedan consultar al realizar sus compras. Esto tambi\u00e9n permitir\u00e1 una mejor trazabilidad y el seguimiento por parte de la HSA en caso de detectar problemas de seguridad o calidad.<\/div>\n

Las empresas que participan en esta iniciativa deben proporcionar a la HSA la documentaci\u00f3n pertinente para demostrar que sus productos cumplen con los est\u00e1ndares de seguridad y calidad, as\u00ed como con los requisitos de etiquetado. Solo los productos que cumplan con estos est\u00e1ndares se publicar\u00e1n en la base de datos de la HSA. La inclusi\u00f3n en esta base de datos no se interpretar\u00e1 err\u00f3neamente como una aprobaci\u00f3n del producto por parte de la HSA.<\/div>\n

HSA lanzar\u00e1 esta iniciativa por fases a partir del 1 de agosto de 2022, comenzando con productos de consumo habitual, como suplementos vitam\u00ednicos y minerales, y productos con mayor riesgo de adulteraci\u00f3n, como los destinados a la p\u00e9rdida de peso, el alivio del dolor y la mejora de la vitalidad masculina. En las fases posteriores, HSA incluir\u00e1 gradualmente otras categor\u00edas de productos.<\/div>\n

Actualmente, la HSA proh\u00edbe la adici\u00f3n de ingredientes medicinales como esteroides y establece l\u00edmites estrictos para los metales pesados t\u00f3xicos tanto en suplementos para la salud como en medicamentos tradicionales. Tambi\u00e9n se realiza vigilancia poscomercializaci\u00f3n para detectar posibles problemas de seguridad cuando los consumidores utilizan estos productos.<\/div>\n
