Agencia An\u00f3nima<\/a> Se ha publicado que la Comisi\u00f3n Europea ha presentado a los expertos de los Estados miembros una propuesta para modificar las normas sobre la fecha de caducidad de los alimentos, a\u00f1adiendo en la etiqueta la menci\u00f3n \u201cConsumir preferentemente antes de\u201d adem\u00e1s de \u201cConsumir preferentemente antes de\u201d.<\/div>\n

El cambio est\u00e1 incluido en el borrador del acto delegado en el que est\u00e1 trabajando Bruselas y al que ha tenido acceso la agencia de noticias ANSA. Seg\u00fan el ejecutivo comunitario, la modificaci\u00f3n es adecuada para reducir el desperdicio alimentario, ya que permite \u201ccomprender mejor la fecha de caducidad\u201d, influyendo \u201cen el proceso de decisi\u00f3n de los consumidores sobre la oportunidad de consumir o eliminar un alimento\u201d.<\/div>\n

La Comisi\u00f3n Europea propone una etiqueta que incluya la menci\u00f3n \u201cConsumir preferentemente antes de, la fecha suele ser buena m\u00e1s all\u00e1\u201d.
