Le secteur mondial de l\u2019alimentation et des boissons \u00e9tant responsable d\u2019environ un tiers des \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre dans le monde, il repr\u00e9sente l\u2019un des plus importants contributeurs au changement climatique.<\/div>\n

En \u00c9cosse, l\u2019industrie est responsable de plus de 20% d\u2019\u00e9missions de carbone et, m\u00eame si elle n\u2019est pas la seule responsable de l\u2019atteinte du z\u00e9ro net, elle est sur le point de jouer un r\u00f4le essentiel.<\/div>\n

Alors que les entreprises agroalimentaires de tout le pays s\u2019efforcent de r\u00e9duire leur impact environnemental et de r\u00e9pondre aux demandes croissantes des consommateurs, les implications \u00e9conomiques sont consid\u00e9rables.<\/div>\n

Le principal d\u00e9fi est que l\u2019industrie agroalimentaire n\u2019a pas encore fait suffisamment de progr\u00e8s et manque consid\u00e9rablement des investissements n\u00e9cessaires, ce qui la contraint \u00e0 rattraper son retard. \u00ab Tous les acteurs de la cha\u00eene d\u2019approvisionnement doivent jouer leur r\u00f4le \u2013 que vous soyez producteur, fournisseur, d\u00e9taillant ou consommateur \u2013 car personne n\u2019est exempt\u00e9 \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Iain Clunie, directeur du programme Net Zero de la Food and Drink Federation Scotland.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
