Philippines FDA tends to expedite the approval process of some sanitizing products, such as sanitizing liquid/spray, sanitizer, etc.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Philippines Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued revised interim guidelines for all ethanol and isopropanol products intended to be used as sanitizing, antibacterial, and antiseptic agents.

Accordingly, the Center for Cosmetics and Household/Urban Hazardous Substances Regulation and Research (CCHUHSRR) is hereby tasked to facilitate and streamline the process of approval for these health products, a responsibility previously assigned to the Center for Drug Regulation and Research (CDRR).
