The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety of South Korea (MFDS) released the ‘Health Functional Food Code’ draft to align with the revision of ‘Korean Nutritional Intake Standards’. This draft open for public comments by June 20, 2021.
The major changes relate to:
1. The conversion factor and daily intake unit of vitamin A.
2. The classification and scientific names of probiotic raw materials.
