The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) would like to update you that there will be upcoming amendments to the Health Products (Cosmetic Products – ASEAN Cosmetic Directive) Regulations with effect from 1 Feb 2023. The key amendments are summarised below.
- Prohibition of Supply of Un-notified Cosmetic Products by Wholesalers and Retailers;
- Stop the supply of the un-notified cosmetic product;
- Take such measures as may be reasonable and necessary in the circumstances to recall the un-notified cosmetic product;
- The amendments to the Health Products (Cosmetic Products – ASEAN Cosmetic Directive) Regulations have been published on 13 Jan 2023;
