Brazilian National Commission on Ethics in Research – CONEP/CNS has published on its website a Circular Notice, which provides guidance on implementing Article 26 of Resolution CNS 674/2022.
This resolution provides for the typification of research and the processing of clinical protocols by CONEP and institutional ethics committees (CEP). Article 26 specifically addresses clinical trials that are exempt from evaluation by the CEP/CONEP System.
