FSSAI release a draft new amendment on Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, which includes processing aid and tocopherols as food additives.
The processing aid includes:
– antifoaming agents
– clarifying agents and filtration aid
– lubricants, release, and antistick agents
– solvents for extraction and processing include enzymes
– generally permitted processing aid
The deadline to comment is 20 Dec.
