Ivan Jarry

CO-FOUNDER AND MANAGING PARTNER

Ivan Jarry is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of SPRIM. Since 2001, Ivan has consulted for some of the top companies in human health, leading global oversight of the SPRIM organization and international engagements. Ivan has opened and managed offices in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, China, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and the United States.

Ivan also Co-Founded SPRIM Ventures in 2015, as well as multiple start-ups in med-tech, sitting on the board of several. Additionally, in 2017, Ivan Co-Founded SPRIM’s first VC fund, TKS 1, a joint venture with Tikehau Capital chartered to invest and grow early-stage, health-focused technology companies.  As part of this, SPRIM has invested in and helped create a multiple new startups through SPRIM Ventures and TKS 1.

Prior to joining SPRIM, Ivan founded UrbanPass, a French media property and publication venture which produced content for 180,000 monthly subscribers, now known as digital communication agency Siteo.

Education

Ivan holds a Masters in Business Management from the EDHEC Business School in Paris.

Dr. Caroline Shleifer

DIRECTOR OF REGULATORY AFFAIRS

Caroline Shleifer is an accomplished innovation leader with a broad scientific knowledge base and the ability to identify high potential scientific solutions to meet consumer and commercial requirements.

Before coming to RegASK, Caroline was the Director of Regulatory and Scientific Affairs APAC for RegASK’s parent company, SPRIM. Caroline worked on wide range of scientific and regulatory projects in the U.S., China and APAC region. She is fluent in French, Spanish and English.

Education

Caroline Shleifer holds a PharmD-PhD on Medical Physics from the University of Paris V, France

Eliana D’Angelo

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Eliana D’Angelo is a core member of the RegASK U.S. team, responsible for overseeing projects across multiple geographies. Eliana manages engagements designed to help clients navigate and provide clarity to the ever-changing regulatory environment. Prior to joining RegASK, Eliana played a central role in SPRIM’s communication practices, targeting both regulatory and medical professional communities.

Education

Eliana D’Angelo received her BS in Finance & Marketing from the University of Central Florida.

Brian Pollack

TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION EXPERT

As lead technologist for RegASK, Brian Pollack leads the way, building our platform using NLP and Semantic Graph Engine.

Brian has been innovating new technologies and bringing technology ideas to fruition for more than 18 years. He’s published articles in dozens of programming languages and technologies including CoffeeScript, Node.js, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Grunt, PHP Yii, PHP Zend, AWS, Cloud Computing, Collaboration Technology, C, C++, Perl, PHP, Objective-C and a host of other languages.

Brian’s specialties include:

• Custom prototypes and interfaces for software

Kiyohisa Kaneko

DIRECTOR OF REGULATORY & SCIENTIFIC AFFAIRS

Kiyohisa Kaneko is a member of the RegASK Japan team, responsible for overseeing projects in Japan.

Prior to joining RegASK, Kiyohisa has over 30 years working experience in both the pharmaceutical and the food industries in Japan and the US as the Director of Scientific & Regulatory Affairs and the Director of Clinical Development.

Education

Kiyohisa holds B.A. in Biology and Chemistry from Cornell College and M.S. in Experimental Pathology and Biochemistry from University of Iowa.

Kiyohisa Kaneko is a member of the RegASK Japan team, responsible for overseeing projects in Japan.

Prior to joining RegASK, Kiyohisa has over 30 years working experience in both the pharmaceutical and the food industries in Japan and the US as the Director of Scientific & Regulatory Affairs and the Director of Clinical Development.

Education

Kiyohisa holds B.A. in Biology and Chemistry from Cornell College and M.S. in Experimental Pathology and Biochemistry from University of Iowa.

Jessica Avila

SCIENTIFIC & REGULATORY MANAGER

Since 2012, Jessica has been responsible for many strategic regulatory projects for food products, ingredients, dietary supplements and cosmetics across the U.S., Mexico, and most of Latin America. Jessica has a broad scientific and regulatory background with a focus on exceeding client expectations within a constantly changing regulatory environment.

Jessica also brings valuable experience in barcode management, formulation of new products, rheology, customer science, and she has taught courses on functional ingredients and additives.

Prior to joining RegASK, Jessica gained important knowledge by working in research and development of new food products for some of the top food companies in Mexico for four years.

Education

Jessica is a Food Engineer from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, she took the specialization in Fruits and Vegetables: Technology and Quality Assurance, and she speaks Spanish, English, and basic French.
