Anvisa Updated Procedures For Imports Of Medicines Including Herbal Medicines
ANVISA has updated its import authorization procedures for medicines and substances subject to special control. It is worth remembering that those products that don’t fall under the food category such as food supplements containing botanicals not described on the list of ingredients allowed for that category, must be registered and imported as herbal medicines or any other OTC product foreseen in the Brazilian regulation.
