EU: Intentions and Classification Proposals for 4 Cosmetic Ingredients

Ban Cmr Cosmetics Substances
Recently, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has received 2 intentions and 8 proposals to harmonize the classification and labeling of substances, 4 of which are relevant to cosmetics.
 
If the classification process is completed, some of these substances could have their authorization for use in cosmetic products questioned.
 
The 4 cosmetics ingredients include:
  • Talc
  • Silicon dioxide
