FDA Introduces SPL Xforms for Effortless Cosmetic Product Facility Registration

On 8 January 2024, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the availability of SPL Xforms, a Structured Product Labeling (SPL) authoring tool for cosmetic product facility registration and cosmetic product listing mandated by the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act of 2022 (MoCRA).

Xforms offers a choice for generating SPL files for cosmetic product registration and listing. FDA accepts electronic submissions through Cosmetic Direct or ESG for cosmetic facility registrations and product listings.
