Ready-made products still contain too much sugar, fat, and salt. This also applies to products with a children’s look, some of which even contain more sugar or fat than comparable products without a children’s look. This is the result of a special report on products with children’s optics based on the independent, scientific studies of the Max Rubner Institute (MRI) in recent years and the product monitoring 2022 for the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), for which around 7,000 products were examined.
