China: CFSA Published Drafts about Five New Food Additives, Such as Acesulfame

Lactose Free Milk Nuts Coconut Almond

CFSA published a regulation draft on modifying five new food additives.

It includes:

– β-glucanase, protease, and trehalase, three new varieties of enzyme preparations for the food industry,
– A new variety of processing aid for the food industry, sodium sulfide pentahydrate,
– and acesulfame potassium (also known as acesulfame potassium, as a Calorie-Free Sweetener), a food additive with expanded dosage.

The deadline for public comments to be submitted on the draft regulation is 28 Feb 2022.
