MOH Malaysia revised labeling requirement under Food Regulation 1985

MOH Malaysia has revised the labeling requirement under Food Regulation 1985 which will be implemented effective from January 1, 2024.

Labeling of QUID (Quantitative Ingredient Declaration). It is the percentage of weight/volume of the relevant ingredient, where the food consists of two or more ingredients, other than water, food additives, and added nutrient, the appropriate designation of each of those ingredients in descending order of proportion by weight and a declaration of the proportion of such ingredient.
