L.helveticus Latti L10 Probiotic Strain has received approval from Health Canada for the use on the probiotic and antioxidant probiotic health claim with an emphasis on athletes.
The approved claims are as follows:
- Promotes gastrointestinal health in physically active adults;
- Helps reduce the incidence of cold-like symptoms in adults with exercise-induced stress.
These claims are an addition to the previously approved claims that the strain promotes gastrointestinal comfort in athletes and boosts natural defenses in physically active adults. The probiotic can be consumed in powder, orodispersible powders, sticks, sachets, capsules, sprinkle caps or chewable tablets.
