The House of Representatives in Morocco have adopted a government bill on legalising cannabis for medical and industrial use. The Minister of Interior, Mr. Laftit highlighted that scientific research had proven the possibility of the safe use of some drugs like cannabis in several areas.
The passage of this bill makes Morocco the first African country to allow the use of cannabis for medical purposes.
